1963 - 2021

Joseph Montesrin Sr., 58, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 25, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus. He was the husband of Susan Christman. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Frank and Harriet (Yeakel) Montesrin. He was employed by True Value in Nesquehoning. Prior to that, he worked for Maradeo Builders in Nesquehoning, and then was the owner and operator of J & B Maintenance. He was a graduate of Panther Valley Class of 1980. He was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed wood working, painting, collecting antiques, and repairing anything. Joseph will be deeply missed by his wife and son with whom he loved taking hikes with.

Surviving along with his wife are a son Joseph Montesrin Jr. of Nesquehoning; 5 brothers Thomas, Frank, John, Robert, and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.   

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240 with Rev. Robert George officiating. Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Call Tuesday morning 9:30- 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
