George A. Gott, 76, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Monday, March 11, 2024 in the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. He was the companion of Donna R. (Dobson) Gott. Born in Elmira, NY, he was the son of the late James R. and Marian L. (Krause) Gott. He was a United States Marine Corporal serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a production manager for scheduling at Kovatch in Nesquehoning, working for 31 years until his retirement in 2017. He was a member of Meed’s United Methodist Church, Nesquehoning. He was a graduate of Dundee High School, NY Class of 1966. He was a member of the Rotary Club and also a member of the Horsehead American Legion. George enjoyed bowling but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving along with his companion are daughters Kimberly Digiglio and her husband Anthony of Nesquehoning, Karen Gott and her fiancée Phil Coniglio of Nesquehoning, and Kelly Gott and her fiancée Joseph Kilpatrick of Coaldale; a son Brian Gott of Nesquehoning; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister Sandy Gott.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
