Diane C. Heffelfinger, 75, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 2, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late William R. Heffelfinger Jr. who passed away July 09, 2020. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Milan and Eleanor (Newton) Vaclavik. She was employed as a seamstress in many factories in Nesquehoning and also was a bartender in the former Nesquehoning American Legion and the Nesquehoning VFW Post 8008. She was a graduate of Nesquehoning High School, Class of 1964. She was also a member of Meed’s United Methodist Church, Nesquehoning.  Diane loved reading and playing cards.

Surviving are sons Christopher and his wife Tracy of Nesquehoning and Timothy and his wife Heather of Summit Hill; a daughter Tracy Fegley and her husband Kenneth of Nesquehoning; a sister Marsha Vaclavik of Lehighton; brothers Milan Jr. and his wife Rose (Reis) of Nesquehoning and Jeff and his wife Georgeann (Becker) of Bethlehem; grandchildren Sean, Brandon, Tyler, Sarah, Ariel, Amanda, and Evan; great grandsons Riley and Dawson; a great granddaughter Eleanor; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning with the Rev. John Mylecraine officiating. Graveside Service will be held in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua. Call Monday morning 9-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
