Darlene M. Andreosky
1940-2022
Darlene M. Andreosky, 81, of Clermont, FL and formerly of Lake Hauto, peacefully entered into eternal rest February 1, 2022, in Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, Clermont, FL. She was the wife of Theodore S. Andreosky, and the couple would have celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary on February 5, 2022. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Darlene was a daughter of the late Arthur and Maxine (Gobie) Smith. She was employed as a clerk for Simmons Mattress Company and the Bradlees Department Store in South Plainfield, NJ until retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. John Russian Orthodox Church, Nesquehoning.
Darlene was part of a triplet set who each had separate birthdays. Because of the rarity of triplets being born on three different days, the “Smith Triplets” gained a certain amount of local fame. Each year on their birthdays, reporters would visit to take photos and write up stories for the local newspapers.
Darlene loved talking with everyone she met, and her family would tease her that she never met a stranger. She often expressed her deep love for her husband and pride in her children and grandchildren. Throughout life, Darlene enjoyed working on various craft projects and most recently was a prolific paint by number artist on her iPad. She was a dog lover who recently declared that her current dog, Buddy, was her favorite pet ever.
Surviving along with Darlene’s husband are two daughters Lori Conlon and her husband Ronald of Orlando, FL and Lisa Osbaldstone and her husband Nathan of Shaftesbury, UK; two brothers Wayne and his wife Connie of New Orleans and Craig of North Carolina; four grandchildren Nicholas and Emily Phillips and Jacquelyn and Theodore Conlon; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Judy Klinger, a triplet sister Diane Stropkai and a triplet brother Donald Smith.
Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in the St. John Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Nesquehoning. The Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home is entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences at www.blazoskyfh.com. Donations in Darlene’s honor can be sent to St. John Russian Orthodox Church in Nesquehoning.
