1926 - 2021

Anna M. Sniscak, 95, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Friday, October 15, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem Campus. She was the wife of the late Michael T. Sniscak who passed away January 29, 2018. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Roman and Anna (Bezruka) Choley. She was employed as an owner / operator of the family owned Sniscak Bar for 47 years. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Nesquehoning. She enjoyed taking walks and working around her home to keep it in pristine condition inside and outside.  Anna also loved her visits from her grandkids.

Surviving are sons Mark and his wife Nancy C. McGorry-Sniscak and Michael T. Jr. and his wife Marie all of Nesquehoning; sister Liz M. Mikovich of Nesquehoning; grandchildren Michael III, Amber Shapiro wife of Todd, Holly Goff wife of Tom, Melissa Fredericks, Lindsey Barragar and her husband Keaton, and Haley Goff; great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Ariana, Augustus IV, Sean, Connor, Haydn, Cassidy, Stephanie, and Casey; great great grandchildren Julian, Aurora, and Hudson; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was also preceded in death by sisters Olga Rishko, Mildred, Nancy, and Irene Gurley and brothers Maurice, Michael, Butch, and Raymond Choley.

A Memorial Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
